There is a thin line between success and failure; it is possible to fall from success into failure. This thin line is easy to cross over without realising it. Becoming successful is not always the difficult part, but remaining a success is where the difficulty lies. An understanding of social dynamics will go a long way in ensuring that you do not cross over from success to failure.
Social dynamics helps to determine the right time to show enthusiasm, the right person to show it to, the right place and the right way to express it. An understanding of these dynamics will help in ventures where it is difficult to predict success or failure - ventures like business and politics.
Authors, directors, and artist all need to understand social understanding in order to define their products and become very successful. Social dynamics does not come handy only in business, but can be a very important tool in making a relationship work out. Work relationships or personal relationship, the right use of social dynamics will make a difference.
Even among those that are involved in sports, social dynamics helps to achieve success. When training together in a group, the athletes will have to interact with other members of the group. One has to interact with the other members of the group. In the group one should know when to speak, when not to speak and when one does not want to be spoken to. One should know how to interact with all members and when someone does not want to be spoken to.
With the right application of social dynamics one gets to be a member of the group in totality. Without been the group leader one can become a pivot for the group; a person that others can look up to. What are the social dynamics of training in a group? Does it produce a better result for the athlete than when he or she trains all by himself/ herself? The truth is that the more the number the better the result. It is also true that working in a group also has the probability of making a person feel inadequate and stupid; especially if there are individuals in the group that looks down on one.
Humans are social creatures, we tend to seek what we make us feel complete. No man can exist in isolation. We get to be more comfortable when we work with faces that are familiar. The chances of being positively influence by a group is higher than those of being negatively influence. Create room for competition which is a tool necessary to succeed. However, if you are the best in the group, you realise that you will not grow. It is best that you work with those that are better than you, this give you room to grow. The social dynamics of working in or with a group is not simple. In order to get the best results, one will be require to blend with the right individuals in the group. Forming cliques which is sometimes common in groups should be avoided has they cause more damage than good within a group.
