We always hear that we need to drink more water, but wouldn't it be better if someone just explained WHY we need to drink more water. Below I have listed a few of these reasons, but I am sure there are plenty more reasons. These are reasons how water can help solve many annoying day-to-day health issues, and possibly prevent a few big ones.
Healthy Heart - Making the habit of drinking lots of water on a regular basis has proved to be literally a life saver. A six-year study that was published in 2002 in the American Journal Epidemiology found that people who drink more than 5 glasses of water a day, are 41% less likely to die from a heart attack. Other researches have also shown that staying hydrated can reduce the risk of bladder cancer by 50% and colon cancer by 45%.
